The Boss is a local celebrity in Banff National Park. He enjoys his own escort while crossing the highways, helps himself to the spoils of other animals’ kills, and has fathered over 70% of the cubs in the park.
This 500lb+ bear is easy to recognize with his numerous facial scars and ripped ear, where he once sported tag #122. In spite of his reputation, this handsome (if rugged) gentleman doesn’t seem to have any idea that he’s famous.
