I love how rough and tough this beautiful iconic eagle looks. I was hiking along a swampy area when a snow squall unexpectedly kicked up with high wind gusts. Because of the high winds it did not want to fly and I did not want to move, fearing falling trees and debris.
The Eagle had been feeding on something in the swamp. After about ten minutes, the skies cleared. It went back to feeding and I continued on my way.
This captivating image evokes a sense of resilience, determination, and freedom. The eagle’s resolute gaze as it waits for the storm to pass suggests a strong and unwavering attitude in the face of adversity. The muted colors and single feather sticking up add just a touch of drama and intensity to the scene.
Overall, this image speaks to strength, perseverance, and a deep connection with nature’s power.
About Eagles
Eagles are majestic birds known for their strength, keen vision, and graceful flight. They symbolize freedom, power, and resilience. As some of the most adaptable birds, eagles are found on every continent of the world, except for Antarctica! They thrive in almost any habitat, including the mountains, grasslands, forests, and coasts.
With their sharp talons and beaks, eagles are skilled hunters and soar through the skies with remarkable agility. They have exceptional vision and are able to spot small prey like rodents from high in the sky.
As apex predators, eagles command respect and inspire awe. They are a testament to the pristine, untouched beauty of nature and serve as a reminder of the wild wonders that surround us.
Decorating Tips
Eagle wall art is best suited for spaces that need a sense of tranquility, natural beauty, and untouched wilderness. The vertical format works well for room corners, stairwells, bathrooms, etc.
In the living room, hanging the image above a neutral-colored sofa or fireplace could create a focal point and add visual interest.
In the bedroom, placing eagle pictures above the bed can create a calming and serene atmosphere, especially when paired with soft bedding and muted accent colors.
In a home office, incorporating the image can introduce a touch of nature and inspire a sense of peace and focus in the workspace.
When choosing room colors to complement Eagle in a Snowstorm, consider harmonizing with the muted blue background, warm browns, and greys of the image. Soft neutrals like light creams, beiges, and taupes can create a soothing and elegant backdrop.
Cool blues that complement the muted blue in the image can enhance the overall color scheme of the room. Incorporating earthy toned accents such as warm browns, soft greens, or hints of rusty orange can further complement the image’s natural theme.

Chromaluxe Metal Prints
Metal prints make for a beautiful and modern presentation. The image is printed directly onto an aluminum surface, allowing for crisp high-resolution details and rich, stunning colours. Metal prints are surprisingly light-weight even at large sizes, and appear to pop out from the wall thanks to the foam backing.
They arrive at your house securely packaged with all needed hardware attached and ready to hang. Caring for metal prints is also a breeze. Just give them a wipe-down from time to time with a soft, dry non-abrasive cloth to remove any dust or finger prints.
Gallery Wrap Canvas Prints
Canvas prints are an affordable and attractive option, particularly if you are shipping overseas. Images are printed directly onto a textured canvas surface and stretched across a warp-proof wooden frame.
This results in a rustic appearance that suits nature photography perfectly. As with metal prints, canvas prints are lightweight and easy to hang. You can also wipe them down with a dry cloth to remove any dust.
Lustre Paper Prints
Lustre paper prints arrive rolled in a tube or with a rigid cardboard backing to keep them secure in the mail. Paper prints are ideal for you if you plan to frame and mat the print yourself. Giving you lots of options for matching your room décor.
Lustre paper has a slightly glossy surface that is more resistant to finger prints and glare than true glossy paper. We test printed many different types of paper before arriving at one that would suit this style of photography nicely.
