Wolf Photography Prints | The Wolves of Banff National Park
Welcome to the Wolf Photography Prints gallery. I’m honored to be able to present images of some of the current members of the Bow Valley Wolf Pack. These images were taken with long lenses from very far away, as I don’t want to disturb the wolves and their natural behaviors.
When I first fell in love with Banff around 2017, the wolves of Banff National Park had suffered many losses between the train tracks, the Trans Canada highway, and becoming acclimated to human food. At the time the general consensus was that the final two members had wandered away from the Park.
I believe this current wolf pack is actually composed of one of the surviving females, a new alpha male, and multiple litters of their pups. This pack is especially wary of humans, which contributes greatly to their long term chances of survival.
